Thank you for visiting the Law Offices of X.L.Cruz, LLC web site.
Xiomara L.Cruz is the founder of the Law Offices of X.L.Cruz, LLC. She is an attorney admitted to the Florida Bar and the New Jersey Bar.
Xiomara is a legal professional concerned with the overly abundant number of businesses and individuals who charge exhorbent fees to clients who then find themselves years later with incomplete, misdirected or simply bungled INS cases. A majority of the cases Ms. Cruz has handled are cases that were started years prior under the very conditions described above. Ms. Cruz prides herself on honesty and integrity since she believes it is pivotal in attaining gainful results. Immigration and naturalization is a process and not simply a one time filling out of some forms and writing a check. Ms. Cruz believes that while it is always necessary to have an initial consultation and assessment with a client, it is sometimes possible that the client simply does not qualify under current immigration law. If you do not qualify or cannot qualify, she will tell you and not send you on a wild goose chase. By the same token, if you do have a case she will show you a roadmap for your case. Ms. Cruz believes that creative and active case management is pivotal to the effective resolution of an immigration case. She does not believe in ‘Fill it, File it, Forget about it’ but rather will stay on target, tracking your case and being your advocate.
Ms. Cruz’ experience is unique because Ms Cruz and most of her family have emigrated to the United States from Colombia where she was born. This experience lends her valuable insight as well as understanding for the plight of the immigrant. She is a fluent native Spanish speaker and can easily dialogue with a client’s family or client residing overseas. Oftentimes this means frequent translation of documents and legal concepts but becomes pivotal when interacting with CIS directly on your behalf.
